D'un modèle à l'échelle microscopique à la détermination à l'échelle de la structure de la fiabilité d'un barrage atteint de réaction alcali-granulats

Abstract : The Song Loulou hydropower dam in Cameroon is affected by alkali-aggregate reaction (AAR) as many others dams worldwide. Macroscopic models of AAR have been developed to describe approximately observations at structure-scale, while accurate microscopic models are based on the physico-chemistry of AAR, with unfortunately prohibitive computational costs. This study proposes to use the microscopic AAR model developed at the LMDC to estimate the reliability of the Song Loulou hydropower dam. Surrogate models, based on the polynomials chaos expansion of the parameters of a sigmoid, have been constituted at several scales, in particular to reduce the computation time. At the scale of the structure, they helped to obtain displacements at the points of interest, related to the operating limits states of the spillways, and thus to estimate the residual reliability of the dam.
