Modélisation Pixel Coloring de la cristallisation du PEKK

Abstract : The properties of the thermoplastic matrix depend strongly on the crystalline morphology formed during the cooling.In order to predict the size of the crystalline entities, to evaluate the impact of the formation of a transcrystalline phasearound the fibers, and to make the link between kinetics of crystallization and morphology, a 3D simulation approachof crystallization is developed in this work. This approach validates identification methods based on the analysis ofmicrographs during crystallization and opens the way to material virtual testing based on realistic micro-structures
